Juan: Okay… eighth grade. We had classes together but somehow never actually talked. Like at all.

Calista: Which is still wild because we were literally in the same rooms every day!

Juan: I’m not even gonna lie… I was way too nervous to talk to you. Ask my friends!

Calista: Wait really??

Juan: Yeah, like I remember the 8th-grade recognition ceremony… I saw you in the crowd and just froze. I was like “there’s no way I’m going up to her”

Calista: Stoppp I had no idea this whole thing was happening behind the scenes.

Juan: You were just vibing and I was over there panicking trying to act normal 😀

Calista: That’s actually so funny.

Juan: And then… nothing happened. We just went our separate ways.

Calista: Until quarantine came through and changed everything.

Juan: For real. I was finally brave enough to text you on Snapchat.

Calista: …and then it turned into us talking all the time LOL. Like late-night convos, laughing about everything.

Juan: Yeah, it went from “hey” to full life talks real quick.

Calista: It just felt easy though, like we skipped all the awkward stages somehow.

Juan: Then Prospect Park… first time hanging out.

Calista: I was SO nervous 😭

Juan: Same… but honestly I think I was still more nervous than you LOL

Calista: No way 😭 I literally wore sunglasses the whole time so you couldn’t see my face. But even with all that, it still felt natural.

Juan: Yeah, like everything just clicked! Meant to be :D

Calista: From there it was just us growing together—high school dances…

Juan: Prom together 🕺💃

Calista: Yes!! Prom was such a core memory!!!

Juan: Then, starting college and going to church together, which meant a lot to both of us.

Calista: All the big moments… and honestly, the small everyday ones too.

Juan: The little moments mean the most. Then a big one, Florida!!!!!

Calista: That sunset was already my favorite part of the trip.

Juan: And I was like… YUP, this the moment.

Calista: You really said let me make this unpredictable.

Juan: Had to LOL

Calista: And you did! That night became everything.

Juan: Looking back, it’s actually crazy how everything lined up.

Calista: Like it all happened exactly how it was supposed to.

Juan: God really had a plan the whole time.

Calista: And we’re just so thankful—for each other and everyone who’s been part of this journey 🤍

Juan: We seriously can’t wait to celebrate with all of you :D
